Two decades of clothes drives and house calls have built up a wide donor base. Today we process thousands of pounds of donated clothes every day. However, it is not enough to satisfy the needs of our partners. Our vision is to continue asking for donations from individuals while establishing local clothes drives. By partnering with companies and charitable churches in the greater Washington, D.C. area, we are striving to meet the needs of the third world.

You can help us bring real hope to our partners! We accept donations of all kinds at either store location. Since door of hope is a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation, you can claim all donations as tax deductions - just ask for a tax receipt whenever you donate. If you must deposit items after hours, please make sure to use sealed plastic bags or boxes. Soiled donations are of no use to us!

In case you are not able to bring heavy or bulky items to the store or a sponsored clothes drive, we will schedule a house call to pick them up.
