Our sorting facility in Ashburn, VA is designed to process 5000 pounds of clothes per day. If donation quality is very high, one container can be assembled in just a few weeks. The highest quality goods are shipped or placed in our thrift stores while the rest is recyled.

The clothes that are shipped are classified according their type. There are more than 40 different types, allowing our partners to sell the bales according to the local market price for each item type.
